— The Studio —

A quiet atelier, obsessed with one form.

AMCA is a small studio designing sculpted audio furniture. Every piece is drawn, engineered and finished under a single roof. This page is the shortest possible introduction to how the work is made.

Santiago Amado, founder of AMCA, in the atelier.

Santiago Amado

Designer, engineer, and the hand behind every AMCA console. His work is guided by a single question: what if the object you performed on carried the same weight as the music itself?

01 · Philosophy

One continuous line.

AMCA is built on a single conviction: that a console can hold the same architectural presence as the room it belongs to. Nothing bolted on. Nothing decorative. Every surface earns its place.

02 · Design

Drawn before it is built.

Each piece begins as a sketch, then a section, then a full-scale wireframe. We iterate in physical space — foam, MDF, plywood — long before a shell is cut.

03 · Fabrication

Hand-guided, machine-precise.

The monocoque shell is CNC-machined, then hand-shaped across seven grits. Paint is laid down in ten layers over three days, wet-sanded, and polished until the surface behaves like still water.

04 · Quality Control

Signed. Numbered. Documented.

Every AMCA is inspected under directional light. Signal path, load, vibration and finish are tested individually. The piece leaves the atelier only when it can be signed.
